Bathroom Red Water
Nestled in a corner upstairs in a townhouse in the center of Antananarivo, this room bathroom was one of my accomplishments more assertive in color, because in Madagascar before, people had a tendency to neglect this piece with some very ordinary and small tiles with joints very messy. Now, those who dare to begin building in the colors and equipment.
Red has been chosen deliberately with the property owner to raise his bathroom, a small surface area to that still leaves withdrawal from other parts like the living room, dining room, lobby ... The color red was not yet an end in itself in this composition as it was to design a project using multiple textures and functions in the bathroom: the white corner bath, bath, sink installed on a table chrome glass top for cleaning and storage effects of toilets, a massage table for relaxation, the toilet seat and even a cupboard. The door leading into this room was specially made by his friend Michael, a painter renowned architect to have an effect on gray weathered wood white, the door itself slides on a rail for a gain of surface.
The floor is tiled in dark gray granite. The wall tile division rhythm of the piece : Bright red with gray borders and red for the parts where the fixtures are installed in arctic white and white diagonally to the upper and corner tub and towels. The openings are white lacquered aluminum obscured by curtains, red and white, laid on wrought iron rods and wrought iron. The mirror is embellished with a sink dual spot lamp, stainless steel-look Lodge studio. Ceiling, drywall, lights are placed spotlights that illuminate the whole.
